   In order to provide you with a business telephone number or NGN all we need to know is your existing landline number. Numbers are usually set up within a few hours and an engineer does not need to visit your premises. There is no need for a new phone line as the number simply diverts to your current number.

3. Do I need to tell my normal phone operator that I am ordering an NGN from The Company Warehouse?

   No. There is no affect or extra cost to your normal phone number through having a NGN business telephone number set up through us. There is no need for a new phone line and set up is straight-forward.

Connection fees vary depending on your chosen NGN, but all our numbers are proven to be cheaper than BT. Please remember that we waive the connection fee for one standard number if you are completing a Company Formation with us.

6. How do I order an NGN?

   Simply pick your perfect number from those available and order online. Alternatively if you'd like some guidance on picking the right number for your business or which type of NGN is best for you, contact our business consultants or submit a support ticket and we'll get back to you. If you know your perfect number we can reserve it for you in a few minutes and it will normally be set up within a few hours.

7. Can I change the telephone number that my NGN diverts to?

   Yes this can be changed at any time. If you move premises or location just let us know and we'll ensure your business telephone number is directed to the right place.

8. What revenue do I earn on my NGN?

   Yes. You can earn up to 4.5 pence per minute on an 0871 number and up to 3 pence per minute on an 0870 number. 0845 numbers do not earn a revenue.

9. Are there any fees apart from the connection charge?

   There is an annual renewal fee of £14.95 for each NGN. This will be deducted from any call revenue you are owed so you will not usually receive an invoice from us unless the call volume on your NGN is very low.

10. When do I get paid my rebate?

    Each quarter we will calculate the amount of rebate owed to you. If this exceeds our minimum payment of £25.00 we will send you a statement. You will then need to invoice us to receive your rebate.

11. Which type of Business Telephone number is best for me?

    This depends on your business:

    • 0800 business telephone numbers – research shows that customers believe that businesses with 0800 numbers care about their customers. When called from landlines, 0800 numbers cost your customers nothing to call and therefore present no barrier to customer contact. The will cost you a little more to set up and run, but the potential return on investment is significant. 0800 business telephone numbers are ideal for advertising and marketing campaigns, customer service or complaint handling.

    • 0845 business telephone numbers – these numbers are well known for being popular business telephone numbers in the UK. Although not free to call like 0800 numbers, they still present a large, national company image at a low cost. Cost of the call is shared between the customer and the business, so cost is minimised for everyone. Ideal for customer care, order/sales lines, generating leads and more.

    • 0844 business telephone numbers – Fixed rate, easy to remember numbers ideal for any small business. These numbers are commonly used for out-of-hours business contact, customer service or simply generating extra leads for a business.
