  1. What are Non Geographic Telephone numbers?
    An NGN is a type of telephone number that diverts or translates to your standard telephone operators phone line. The caller is unaware of your usual telephone number, they dial the NGN and you answer the call on your normal telephone.

  2. How easy is it to set up an NGN?
    In order to provide you with an NGN all we need to know is your existing landline number. Numbers are usually set up within a few hours and an engineer does not need to visit your premises.

  3. Do I need to tell my normal phone operator that I am ordering an NGN from The Company Warehouse?
    No.

  4. What are the main benefits of an NGN?
    The main benefits include:
    1. Give your customers a professional looking number to call
    2. Take your 0870, 0871, 0845 number with you if you move or relocate
    3. Avoid reprinting stationery and livery
    4. Present a national image
    5. Hide your company's location
    6. Earn a call revenue on calls you receive (0870 and 0871)

  5. Can I have an easy to remember number?
    We grade our NGN's in three bands, Gold, Silver and Standard depending on how easy they are to remember. Connection fees are £50.00 (Gold), £25.00 (Silver) and £9.99 (Standard). Please remember that we waive the connection fee for one standard number if you are ordering a company with us.

  6. How do I order an NGN?
    Simply choose the available numbers and contact our sales team. We can reserve a number for you in a few minutes and it will normally be set up within a few hours.

  7. Can I change the telephone number that my NGN diverts to?
    Yes this can be changed at any time.


  8. What revenue do I earn on my NGN?
    You can earn up to 4.5 pence per minute on an 0871 number and up to 3 pence per minute on an 0870 number. 0845 numbers do not earn a revenue.


  9. Are there any fees apart from the connection charge?
    There is an annual renewal fee of £14.95 for each NGN. This will be deducted from any call revenue you are owed so you will not usually receive an invoice from us unless the call volume on your NGN is very low.


  10. When do I get paid my rebate?
    Each quarter we will calculate the amount of rebate owed to you. If this exceeds our minimum payment of £25.00 we will send you a statement. You will then need to invoice us to receive your rebate.
