Sage One Corporate Partnership Case Study

Challenge

Sage were relatively late launching their cloud based accountancy software for small businesses. There were already several competitors in the market and Sage wanted to quickly establish themselves and build their market share.  The key challenge was to find a way to get new businesses to adopt their software before they made a decision to use a competitor’s product.

Solution 

The Company Warehouse’s online and offline marketing channels reach 60%+ of all newly registered UK companies either before the business is registered, at the point of registration or within 1 business day of registration. 

Sage opted to have a presence in all of The Company Warehouse marketing channels including sponsoring 1000 “Free Company Formations” packages with the “hook” that the client consented to a demonstration and trial of the SageOne service. The Company Warehouse fulfilled the demonstration and trials on Sage’s behalf via their team of Account Managers that are assigned to every client. 

Results

The Company Warehouse quickly became Sage’s largest accountancy partner for Sage One software, beating out the nearest competitor by over 100%. Sage got exposure for their software with hundreds of new startup businesses each week as well as having its features and benefits actively pushed out to a wider group of startups and small businesses.
